Visiting Student Rotations:

Outpatient and inpatient rotations are available for visiting medical students.
These rotations are for medical students who wish to gain experience in a family medicine
environment that caters to the underserved Latino population of the San Diego border area.
Opportunities are available to rotate on the inpatient service, various outpatient clinics- including the resident clinic, Southwest High adolescent clinic, and participate in prenatal care at the Samahan Clinic. Please specify what area(s) you would like to spend time in. There is a close affiliation with the University of California, San Diego Family Medicine program.

Students must be enrolled in a LCME approved medical school in the United States or Canada, and have completed their core clerkship training. Students must also be in good academic standing with their school to qualify for the rotation. If interested, please contact Pat Meyers, our Residency Program Coordinator, for an application.
